Liturgy

This group of individuals involves a collaboration of several ministries within the parish, such as religious educators, readers, music ministers, etc., whose goal is to help make meaning of the text encountered at weekly services. It is their mission to help the congregation understand and  realize how the text is more than just words printed on a page. They begin to accomplish this goal by piecing together the main themes of each Sunday,and applying it to ways that it can be expressed or emphasized. The committee does just that through the use of symbols, displaying messages on posters, song selections, etc. This group also discusses some of the concerns that arise during Sunday celebrations that need to be explored. It is their hard work of bringing the text alive and discussing concerns that makes the liturgy committee a very essential organization in our parish.
