Altar Society

The Altar Society originally was called the Decorating Committee.  The names was changed to emphasize it’s the most important duty.  To prepare the Altar according to the Liturgical changes during the year.  The Society was responsible for the planning and decorating of the church for: Advent, Christmas, Ordinary time, Lent, Easter, Thanksgiving and any occasion.  Members of the Altar Society did their best to provide new and creative arrangements.  Also, special care was given to living plants year round.

We no longer have an Altar Society.  We do have dedicated parishioners who do their best to decorate for the seasons and one parishioner who cares for our living plants.  We thank the previous committee and the present parishioners so much for your dedication.
